November 7, 2024 Update
Mainstem’s Dayton, WA malting facility project is well underway, with hearty support from the Port of Columbia, State of Washington, USDA, and a lender focused on funding regenerative agricultural projects. We have so far brought nearly $6.5 million in public funding to the project, with millions of additional private and public funding likely to come in during 2025, but cash will likely remain tight until we move into construction. The current priority#1 is to keep this effort moving through architecture, permitting, and bidding, which means our malt production & sales are now at a standstill.
Many, many thanks to customers new & longstanding who remain excited about working us once we reboot with more sustainable operations. Stay tuned on our social media for updates on our progress, timing, and what to expect as we gear up for opening day. It’ll be a minute, but well worth the wait.
